Discover “Stayin’ Gone” by Dwayna Litz

120

Singer Songwriter Dwayna Litz writes and releases “Stayin’ Gone” –a driving, country single filled with attitude. Recorded at the famous Ronnie’s Place on Music Row in Nashville, Dwayna coproduced it with famed fiddle player and arranger, Tim Crouch.

It evolved into a sound all its own, appealing to audiences from soulful country to rock, thanks to musicians: Steve Brewster on drums/ Tim Crouch on guitars, fiddle/Jeff Taylor on piano/James Mitchell on electric guitars, and Duncan Mullins on bass; recording engineer -Nick Autry; Nathan and Suzanne Young on background vocals; mixed by Billy Decker.

It begins with the lyric, “How many times have I told you goodbye?” It’s a feel good, song that trophies strength in being true to one’s self, giving up that addictive kind of love that is “on and off the ride,” with a smarter future now, after just enough hurt to finally be “Stayin’ Gone.”
