Chilean band AL LUGAR SECRETO unveils their debut EP titled “PRIVILEGIO”, a project rooted in the profound journey of its creators, Cristian Soto (Composer and Vocalist) and Patricio Pino (Music and Bassist), spanning over two decades.
This EP weaves a captivating Latin pop musical tapestry, interlaced with elements of ballad, bossa nova, and funk, offering a universally appealing sound.
Within these four songs, diverse themes converge, yet they share a common thread—the profound expression of a deep relationship with God.
“SONG WITH JUBILEE” underscores the significance of manifesting God’s presence in our lives, reflecting a transformative rebirth. “PRIVILEGIO,” the EP’s namesake track, expresses heartfelt gratitude for the tremendous gift of salvation.
“ALL THAT I AM” emphasizes the paramount importance of wholeheartedly embracing God’s love above worldly distractions, even amid life’s daily struggles.
“ESTAS CONMIGO,” the EP’s concluding track, radiates the joy and contentment found in an intimate connection with God, unaffected by life’s circumstances.
Adding a youthful and melodious touch to the EP is Samira Soto, a 16-year-old talent who not only lends her enchanting vocals but also contributes as a composer in the song “Canta con Jubilo,” infusing fresh melodies into the mix. Samira’s early start in composing at age 11 culminated in her participation in this remarkable EP.
Producer and keyboardist Lucas Santander plays a pivotal role, complementing the project with his talent and professionalism.
The EP’s visual representation, crafted by José Osorio and Alonso Osorio, features a striking image—a golden crown, subtly adorned with thorns, symbolizing Jesus as both king and servant, resonating with the EP’s profound themes.
