Bello Hameed Tomiwa, widely known as Hdot, emerges as a multifaceted talent from Nigeria. A singer, songwriter, instrumentalist, and record producer, Hdot’s musical journey began in 2015 at Aboru, Iyana Ipaja, Lagos, Nigeria, where he was born and raised.

His passion for music was ignited by the songs of Nigerian indigenous artist Qdot. It was Qdot’s distinctive singing style that resonated deeply with Hdot, leading him to discover his own musical talents.

To honor this influence, he incorporated the last three letters of Qdot’s name into his artistic identity, while also borrowing the initial “H” from his own name, Hameed, to complete the transformation into Hdot.

Among Hdot’s creative endeavors is his latest composition, “Holy Water,” a song that exudes a captivating and gentle flow. The inspiration behind the song’s creation was born from a desire to craft something extraordinary that would echo with women and invite them to dance.

The process began with a simple yet impactful thought – to convey the essence of his gentleness and charm through music. The result was the chorus that echoes, inviting the listener to “come closer” and experience the essence of his personality.

“Holy Water” portrays Hdot’s ability to infuse his music with genuine emotions and relatable narratives. With a creative process rooted in introspection and a desire to create something unique, Hdot’s songwriting approach speaks to his connection with his audiencee allowed his thoughts to flow and took inspiration from everyday experiences to craft a song that resonates on a deeper level.

“Holy Water” serves as a reminder of his distinctive approach to songwriting and his dedication to crafting melodies that resonate with authenticity. Through his music, Hdot invites us to experience the world through his eyes, one gentle note at a time.
