Nigerian Afrobeats sensation Julio Ade, also known simply as Julio, pours his heart and soul into his latest single, “4 Love.” He wrote this song purely from his emotions, he lists all the things he would do for love. If his partner is crying, he’s crying with her to show she’s not alone. When she smiles, he smiles with her because her happiness is his happiness. No matter how busy he is, if she needs him, he’s there—because that’s what he does for love.

Julio Omo Adewusi Okpe, born on July 1, 2003, in Madrid, Spain, hails originally from Benin City in Southern Nigeria. His early education saw him moving between Lagos and London before he attended Birmingham City University to study popular music. This young talent has made a name for himself in the global Afrobeats music scene, distinguished by his ability to singlehandedly create music from scratch and make a living from it.

Julio’s adaptive style, matchless delivery, and infectious energy set him apart from his peers. His musical versatility spans genres including reggae, drill, trap, soul, and Afrobeats/Pop fusion, often adding a native Nigerian flavor to his covers on social media. His dedication to music is paralleled by his skills in engineering, mixing, and recording tracks for other artists.

In 2022, Julio signed with Champion One Entertainment, a burgeoning Nigerian record label. The following year, he opened the stage for Zinoleesky during the Birmingham stop of his UK tour, marking a significant milestone in his career. Despite his young age, Julio’s perseverance and talent have allowed him to excel both artistically and academically.

“4 Love” is a testament to Julio’s dedication to his craft and his deep understanding of love and relationships. With more magic in the works, Julio continues to captivate audiences worldwide with his heartfelt music and dynamic performances.
