Boston-based punk rockers Last Second Dropout proudly present their fresh new single “It’s OK”. A time warp blasting us back to the early 2000’s, the hot new single is available today on most streaming platforms. Merge together the rowdy and rebellious energies of bands like Sum 41 and Blink 182, and the end product will be the dynamic unit that is Last Second Dropout. Coated in nostalgia, “It’s OK”’s punchy guitar hooks and catchy background vocals make it an immersive experience for fans of pop rock.

On “It’s OK, Last Second Dropout highlights the pressures they face to constantly perform amidst the feelings of burnout. By shamelessly underlining the narcissistic tendencies of the music industry, the band create a relatable anthem for similar musicians on the rise. Amidst the high energies of the track, the band makes controversial statements about the industry that many refuse to vocalize. With production credits from renowned producer GGGarth Richardson (XX, the debut by Rage Against The Machine), “It’s OK” came to life in 2024. Produced at The Farm Studios in BC, Canada with additional recording at Dimension 70 and Pineapple Tree Productions, “It’s OK” marks the first song from Last Second Dropout in almost two years. With final mastering touches made by Henry Reinach (Max Martin, Bruce Springsteen) and mixed by Mark Aguilar (Paramore, Taylor Swift), allowing the
track to further come to life.
