Reggae Artists, Black Ice & Junior Toots Release New Single “BE thankful”

473

Reggae singer-songwriters Black Ice and Junior Toots have created a truly uplifting reggae-dub
tune with their latest single, “Be thankful.” This song of thanks for life’s journey is a testament to
their musical prowess and devotion to spreading positivity.

“Be thankful” is an outstanding collaboration between these two well-known reggae artists. In it,
they ask us to understand that our lives are precious and priceless and to give thanks for the
simple things, such as the air we breathe and the food we eat. These “gifts” are worth more than
silver and gold. The lyrics and the reggae-dub beat make it impossible not to dance and sing
along.

“Give thanks for life and all life’s lessons because life is about love, and love is about life.”
Junior Toots.
“This song is dedicated to the loving memory of Toots Hibbert of Toots and the Maytals. I’ve had
the pleasure of opening for him, together with his son, Junior Toots, the featured artist on this
single, “Be thankful.” I will always be grateful for the experiences and love we share.” Black Ice.
These Jamaican artists carry on a family legacy that has existed since the birth of reggae music
decades ago.
