Shazam Conner, one of the founding members of the legendary R&B group H-Town, embarks on an exciting solo journey with the release of his new single, “Strokey Doke.”

The song is a heartfelt collaboration with his H-Town groupmates, G.I. and the late Dino Conner, paying homage to their shared musical legacy.

Produced by Shazam and Dino, “Strokey Doke” marks the beginning of Shazam Conner’s solo career, hinting at the promise of more upcoming releases.

Currently, he is busy crafting material for a full-length solo album, a highly anticipated project that fans eagerly await.

H-Town left a memorable imprint on the R&B scene in the 90s, with their debut album ‘Fever for da Flavor’ in 1993.

The album introduced the world to their talent, featuring the chart-topping hit single “Knockin’ Da Boots.”

Their second album, ‘Beggin’ After Dark,’ followed in 1994, further solidifying their place in the hearts of music fanatics with the popular single “Emotions.”

As Shazam Conner steps into the spotlight for his solo career, the memory of Dino and the musical bond shared with G.I. only adds depth to his new endeavors.

“Strokey Doke” not only celebrates their artistry but also serves as a reminder of the timeless impact H-Town has had on the R&B genre, making this new chapter in Shazam’s journey all the more meaningful and poignant.

H-Town is an American R&B vocal group from Houston, Texas, United States. H-Town was founded in 1990 by brothers Keven “Dino” Conner (c. 1974 – 2003),[1] Solomon “Shazam” Conner and their friend Darryl “G.I.” Jackson. H-Town recorded three hits during the early to mid–1990s.
