Shore Lane, the acoustic duo known for their uplifting and harmonious sound, will release their highly anticipated single, “Lord, Breathe.” This Contemporary Christian worship song was created for the Youth and Family Ministry Retreat in the Pacific Northwest, where the theme “Breathe” in 2023 inspired its powerful message. Written in collaboration with their friend David Schrampfer, who also lends his voice to the song, “Lord, Breathe” draws on Genesis 2:7 to remind listeners of God’s life-giving breath and the hope found in Jesus’ resurrection.

“Lord, Breathe” features a full instrumental ensemble, blending keys, acoustic and electric guitars, bass, drums, and Shore Lane’s distinctive vocal harmonies. With an uplifting and upbeat sound in the key of E, the song’s rhythms reflect both the breathy quality and heartbeat of worship, ideal for church settings throughout the year, including Christmas, Easter, Pentecost, and beyond.

“Our hope is that this song becomes a source of strength and renewal for those exploring or deepening their faith,” say Shane and Lauren. “Our music is rooted in our foundation in Christ, and we’re honored to share that through our journey together as husband and wife.” Following the release of their debut single, “Two Voices, One Song,” “Lord, Breathe” represents Shore Lane’s devotion to creating meaningful music that reaches beyond church settings, uplifting audiences who seek inspiring and soulful music.
