324

With sharp lyrics and catchy melodies blending reggae and dancehall, Skanky remains a pioneer of the Caribbean music scene. Known for creating timeless pieces, the artist has relaunched his album Que Dire—a 15-track collection—through a fresh strategy with the Artnforces label.

Skanky’s ability to produce impactful tracks shines, whether in solo projects or collaborations with renowned and emerging artists. He teams up with Janik for the song Effrayé (with its own music video), and joins forces with Syron and Gadstone for Le Soleil Brille. Skanky also honors women with Fanm, alongside the unique voice of Samak.

The album radiates humility and invites awareness, touching on deep topics like morality, spirituality, and relationships, without ever sounding preachy. With memorable choruses in songs like Méchan, Que Dire, and La Raison, this album promises to captivate both young and older audiences, men and women alike. Que Dire showcases Skanky’s maturity as an artist, offering a diverse blend of rhythms that are sure to resonate.
