Rising Rhythmic Pop and Hip Hop star Taija New releases her heartfelt new single “Couture” today, featured on her latest album Unsolicited Material.
Now available on all streaming platforms, the single is accompanied by an official music video debuting on YouTube.
“Couture” is a refreshing tribute to love and emotional maturity in an era oftendominated by themes of detachment and independence. With nostalgic nods to the 90s era of R&B and Hip Hop, the track celebrates being the perfect fit for someone—and holding a relationship together through healthy communication and genuine connection.
“In a climate where so much music is about being a savage, I wanted to write something that honors staying in a relationship,” says Taija. “Couture is about being intentional, resolving issues with care, and supporting your partner with love.”
The song features an engaging intro by DJ Juice, bringing a mixtape-style energy to the track, and was co-produced by Angelo Quaglía, who helped craft its timeless yet contemporary sound.
