London-based rock band The Mess:Age has released their latest song: “Famous Friend” explaining the struggles and joys of camaraderie when faced with stardom. This single is composed by the band’s founder and the lead vocalist Glen Brandon, also known as Ziggy, from his new album “Make the Peace”. This is one of Ziggy’s themes – fame vs. friendship – that comes from his own friendship with bassist Paul Gold.
Inspired by the film “DeathWish 2” and The Rolling Stones’ track “Brown Sugar”, Ziggy envisioned. He regarded the song as a prophecy of what may happen to his friendship with Paul should they become famous.
