The Muster Point Project Releases “Nothing Ever Goes Away”

489

Stationed under the Muster Point Project, the latest release “Nothing Ever Goes Away” is a moderately upbeat sounding tune that belongs to the Americana/Folk Rock genre telling the story of a man with a family struggling with their financial troubles. This deep song describes the problem of poverty, a subject that is familiar to many; there are expectations of a better future, but these expectations are immediately followed by disappointment.

‘Nothing Ever Goes Away’ addresses the great and thorny theme of money troubles sincerely and seriously. The lyricism of the song is rather dark and profound, yet a kind of beauty in the song is expressed through the grand and rather romantic orchestral arrangement and powerful, expressive vocals. Since this is a story-telling track, there is a progressive build on the already vibrant bass of pianos.

The song commences with a suspenseful guitar line which creates the background that is needed to introduce the main character’s voice. Acoustic guitar and piano are the main instruments used in singing the song while electric guitar is used to add some extra texture to it. The music is composed with leveled melody melodies and cool power chords while the guitar riffs have that blues feeling with a dazing effect that splinters and scatters supremely, which forms a kind of refracted consciousness to the listener.

“Nothing Ever Goes Away “is produced by Darryll McFadyen and it sustains a fast tempo which augments the development of the plot. In McFadyen’s production, the track is maintained constantly at high energy as this adds the element of dynamism thus making the song’s emotional delivery effective.

The Muster Point Project has created a great tune that presents an emotional side of the band and listeners evoking feeling of financial difficulties and the desire to overcome them. Despite being labeled as an Americana/folk rock band, the song “Nothing Ever Goes Away” is living proof that narration can go hand in hand with well orchestrated instruments.
