Valory Joyce’s ‘Dear Jesus’ Sparks Reflection and Connection

189

In her most recent single “Dear Jesus”, singer-songwriter Valory Joyce sent a deep inner conversation to God concerning the roadblocks of life and obtaining comfort through prayer. Valory comes forth with the pure honesty and deep emotion of the pursuit of God in the day to day rush.

“Dear Jesus” highlights the need to put our faith in God whiles we go through difficult times. Just as Valory puts it candidly (me herself here), “God is the only person that understands everything” As she says, people get more concerned with the things of the world that they overlook the spiritual connection. However, she wants to recenter her focus on God’s presence and guidance.

For that yearning to come close to God, the song “Dear Jesus” of Valory is a personal plea. By admitting, “He wants my attention more than I can ever imagine and I want to give Him that more often,” she makes herself extremely vulnerable and so, invites the listeners to join in the search of peace and fulfillment though a closer relationship with the Almighty.

Growing up in Minneapolis with a Nashville sound, Minneapolis-born and bred Valory Joyce is conquering the music world with her true songs and move-stirring melodies. While Valory writes about faith, romantic hardships, or the deepest pleasures in life, her perspective is shown in her lyrics which bring back memories and inspire reflection on under-explored themes such as happiness and fulfillment.

She hopes that through her music listeners to get an attentive feeling and to find reconciliation in their own spiritual journey.

Through the use of her straightforward lyrics and soulful tunes, Valory ushers in listeners for faith-based, inner-search, and unbreakable hope journey together.
