Afrofusion sensation 705 and versatile rapper Habeeb Samba have joined forces to release their electrifying new single, “Wave”, the standout track from 705’s latest EP, Quarter Past 7ven.

A hypnotic blend of Afrobeat rhythms, modern pop, and razor-sharp rap verses, “Wave” highlights the undeniable chemistry between the two artists. Habeeb Samba’s laid-back yet punchy rap flow meshes effortlessly with 705’s smooth, melodic delivery, creating a dynamic back-and-forth that elevates the track into an  instant anthem.

Speaking on their collaboration, Habeeb Samba says: ‘Wave’ is all about synergy, my rap style plays off 705’s cadence in a way that just clicks. We wanted a track that hits hard but still keeps you moving, and the way our verses play off each other makes it special.”

705 adds: “Habeeb Samba brings this effortless cool to his raps, and I wanted to match that energy while adding my own flavor. The contrast in our flows makes the song unpredictable and exciting.”

Produced with vibrant percussion, infectious hooks, and a bassline that demands movement, “Wave” is a testament to the creative fusion of rap and Afrobeat. The track sets the tone for Quarter Past 7ven, an EP that showcases 705’s evolution as both an artist and producer.
