Beldon Haigh’s three-minute pop-rock song “One Way Holiday” contemplates fleeting yet meaningful connections

470

Beldon Haigh has just released their newest single, titled “One Way Holiday.” This charming and thought-provoking three minute pop-rock tune looks back on relationships that were brief yet significant.

Since May, Beldon Haigh has been actively involved in the protest against the BBC’s cuts to BBC Local Radio. He helped present the petition to 10 Downing Street in June and has protested the cuts in Parliament square, Broadcasting House, and outside of various BBC offices throughout the summer. Need My Local Radio was released in May.

In addition, Beldon played a supportive role in the background of the present legal case that Sarah Leadbetter is bringing against the BBC.

The band has timed the release of the album so that it will coincide with the time when people are either returning from recent vacations or reflecting on those vacations. They hope that this will help rekindle treasured recollections of magical times.

In order to provide further evidence for this claim, Beldon Haigh has produced a film that features remembrances of vacations spent in some of the most beautiful places in the world.

The song “One Way Holiday” opens with a droning baritone guitar riff that transports the listener to a mysterious and distant location. The verses are enigmatic, inquisitive, and intriguing, and they build up to a soaring chorus, which is one of Beldon’s signature musical elements. We have high hopes that the song would evoke warm feelings of nostalgia in listeners, even if the recollections are tinged with sadness
