DJ Moderno continues to explore various styles of electronic music, and his new single “Vuelvo a Ti” is a testament to his versatility. This track revisits the indietronica/pop electronic style characteristic of his early compositions, offering a return to pop with a melancholic lyric accompanied by a beautiful vocal melody wrapped in a synthpop base. Inspired by bands like Chvrches and Postal Service, the song evokes the indie electronic sound of the 2000s.
“Vuelvo a Ti” is a song about a relationship doomed to fail but impossible to leave. Despite its sad tone, the melody and rhythm make it an ideal track for dancing and reflecting at the same time. The DJ Moderno Live trio, led by German Ormaechea (DJ Moderno), continues their musical journey alongside Berty García (keyboards and guitar) and Isa Atómica (vocals and backing vocals).
Since they began presenting “La Nave Nodriza” live in 2022, DJ Moderno Live has continuously produced and presented new songs like “Hey! Esa Habitación”, “No Sé Si Estás Tú”, “Llévame a Ninguna Parte”, and “Buscarte”. These songs, along with “Vuelvo a Ti”, will be part of their second full-length album set to be released before the end of 2024.
The trio has brought their entertaining live show to cities like Pamplona, Denia, Granada, and Sevilla, including a performance at the Latin Grammys. They’ve also performed in their hometown of Madrid in iconic venues such as El Perro, Moby Dick, Vesta, Juglar, Cadavra, and Siroco. Additionally, they’ve participated in events like Madrid Fashion Week at IFEMA, Malasaña Festivities, and Tapapi.
