Changing Tymz Releases 13-Track Album “Finish the Race”

730

Changing Tymz, the American hard rock-metal band with a loud sound and socially conscious lyrics, are out with their newest album called Finish the Race. This has thirteen songs that are as entertaining as they are creative, and superb musicianship in addition to the ability to come up with catchy popular tunes.

The album begins with a spoken word piece that is fittingly called “The Search for Clarity” accompanied by some bell chimes, piano snippets, and booming bass. This preamble just gives the listener a sneak peek into the comprehensive story that is set out into the entire album. This continuity results in forcing the audience to search for deeper feelings and connotations, as the band moves from one sound landscape to another.

This album is the deepest, heaviest and most emotional hard and progressive rock album I’ve ever heard, and it has probably the most energy I’ve ever seen in a band, and that’s not a bad thing. Every performer introduces his or her individuality to the general mood and feelings, which, for sure, fans of the heavy music will find charming. Tony Rossi adds dynamic power to the rhythm section; Timmy Wysong along with Brian Weber give state of the art performance of guitar with full fluency; Bryan McQuade lays down firm bass; finally Joann E Wolfe owns up the stage commanding vocals.

The vocal sections are its most special: creating an eagerness to live and the drive to move forward on listeners. Lyrically it is positive and makes you reflect on certain things while musically it is good with nice melodies accompanied by harmonies that are suspense and creepy to some extend. The directions of the songs and their structures make it possible for each one to make the intended impression.

Finish the Race is no different it stays with listeners even after the song is done. It can, therefore, be argued that Changing Tymz has made a series of songs that not only have a lyrical appeal, but also do justice to the singer’s skill set, as well as a group’s innovation.
