Roman Angelos Releases “Ursula 1000 Remix” from Tropical Nites—A Summery Escape

290

Brooklyn composer Roman Angelos brings us into a world of exotic soundscapes and easygoing vibes with the first single from his upcoming EP, Tropical Nites: Remixes and Lost Tracks. The single more specifically is a remix done by none other than Ursula 1000 and involves bossa nova, lounge and tropical that makes for a perfect vacation.

Lively birds chirping and beautiful nature sounds kick off Ursula 1000 version of Tropical Nites immediately establishing, laid-back tropical environment. These ambiences develop themselves into a complex layer of steel drums, floating synths and slow pulsing beats, that truly signify summer. It retains its dreamy, chilled out consistency while adding enough rhythm to make it feel active and relaxed, which will make it great for any relaxed get together or any warm night.

Angelos’s accompaniment enriches this track and includes Rich Bennett – guitar, Brittany Anjou – vibraphone, Ben Zwerin – bass, Spencer Cohen – drums, Kai Sandoval – trumpet. Together, they provide a very exotic tropical atmosphere over a backdrop of steel drums and other tropical sounding oriented instruments and enriched by Ursula 1000’s thick and diverse layers.

Funky, rhythmic, and smooth, the inclusion of ‘Ursula 1000 Remix’ of Tropical Nites from this list is a great one since it brings a more excuse to listen to the album with ease. Essentially, it blends down-tempo jazz and tropical house to deliver a result that is distinct, earing, up-tempo and, as you might imagine, delightfully sunny. The Roman Angelos himself doesn’t need any introduction but this track also showcases the remixing capabilities or spices up of the Ursula 1000 that transitions from the typical dance floor material to beach front chill out music.
