Drawing inspiration from the pulse of Afrohouse and the hypnotic textures of African vocal layers, the piece stands as a tribute to movement, ritual, and emotional liberation.
The title “Ayae” is derived from an imagined mantra, a wordless, spiritual utterance of unity. During late-night studio sessions, the two artists envisioned a ceremonial tribe gathered around a fire under moonlight, where each drumbeat echoed through generations.
