Heritage Listed is the newest track from Melbourne (Naarm)-based artist Algo.Rhythm, a genre-blending producer, vocalist, and multiinstrumentalist. Rooted in his Chilean and Mauritian lineage and raised in Melbourne’s south-east, the track is a reclamation of story, memory, and identity.
The title plays on the concept of “heritage-listed” buildings – structures protected for their cultural significance. Algo.Rhythm applies this idea inwardly, treating his lived experience with the same reverence.
