Up and coming internatonal reggae artist Alfred Lloyd has just released his latest effort entitled YOU’RE GONNA LOVE ME!
Alfred Lloyd is a musician with a mission. Born in Manchester, Jamaica, he was heavily influenced by the sounds of Bob Marley, Dennis Brown, and Gregory Isaacs during his formative years. As a proud American with Jamaican roots now living in Fuquay Varina, North Carolina, his music naturally infuses different cultures and styles to send a message to the world. Alfred’s musical career began in 1989 when his first published song, “Unconditionally,” was recorded by Deborah Glasgow for Gussie Clarke. However, it wasn’t until he met master engineer Osborne ‘Ifield’ Joseph that Alfred found his footing and began producing high-quality material that he writes and performs himself.
This new single “YOU’RE GONNA LOVE ME” is a classic reggae love song that tells the story of a man expressing his love to a woman. As an American with Jamaican roots, Alfred brings his signature upbeat sound to this infectous beat. The song’s chorus of “You baby, you’re gonna love me” has been described as “super catchy” and is sure to have you singing along.
The song’s refrain touches on the universal power of love, as it’s structured as a heartelt vow from one partner to another promising to provide and care for them. Keep a look out for Alfred Lloyd, a singular voice in the reggae scene. This song is available through cdbaby.com, on Spotfy and Apple music. This song promises to be a big one… Check it out!
