Three years after releasing his debut album Alive To God, Phillip Hill has just started releasing his second music project.
A Good Work in You is a morning motivator. It’s the feature song for Phillip Hill’s new album Reassured. Like the classic hit Wake Up Everybody by Harold Melvin & the Blue Notes, it’s composed to inspire people at the start of their day. With elegant violin melodies the song entreats the morning awakening hours. Most importantly it quotes the words of the Bible. A Good Work in You is a musical presentation of Philippians 1:6 and Matthew 6:34. It’s another celebration of God’s goodness. It’s another transcript of Phillip’s heart.
The Bible quotations are well known by many Christians. Now they can be heard with a fresh melody and message of hope. Music and God’s word unite in A Good Work in You to edify and inspire whosever has a listening heart. Like all of Phillip’s songs, this latest one delivers the word of God through music believing that truth is often more easily sung into people hearts than preached into them.
A Good Work in You has a VEVO stamped music video on YouTube showing a morning routine and Phillip singing in a park. The video encourages people to listen to the song when they wake up in the morning and start the day inspired by the promise of God. In the words of Matthew 6:34, A Good Work in You reminds everyone not to worry about tomorrow but to focus on the challenges of
today. Although American, Phillip has had the joy of living in Brazil for almost a year.
He has recorded both music projects and the music video for A Good Work in You in São Paulo, Brazil.
