AKSL GEMINI makes a comeback with a new song titled “Faut doser.”
AKSL GEMINI was born in Paris, although she spent the majority of her adolescence in Gabon. She draws inspiration from African music artists like Davido and Wizkid as well as American RNB artists from the 1990s like Mary J. Blige and Aaliyah. She is also influenced by soul music legends like Luther Vandross.
Her new song “Faut doser” refers to a first love encounter in which you feel as though you have known the other person for a very long time. Everything is going so well and quickly that all you want to do is curl up in your partner’s arms and spend as much time as possible living in these moments worry-free.
We are even brought back to a depressing truth in all this spell of beginnings and this state of well-being, when nothing matters anymore: “When it is too lovely, you have to expect the worst.”
This song reminds us that there is a violent aspect to everything and that our romantic disappointments can happen again. Let’s not ignore that inner voice that cautions us to control our emotions when they erupt violently like a volcano.
With this song, Roy Rollins, an American engineer, handled the mix while AKSL GEMINI oversaw the complete phonic production.
AKSL GEMINI encourages us to savor the moment in this song.
Accept, without thinking and just enjoying the moment, to feel loved and cherished in the eyes of the person you have chosen.
Although being aware that precipitation and speed should not be conflated.
