Hip-hop recording artist and music publisher B. Elise releases the highly anticipated summer
anthem SHAKE.
The single is definitively hip hop. However, B. Elise has also had her ears tuned to smooth sounds and the music of her childhood. That includes konpa, reggae, alternative, hip-hop, and pop. Clearly, she likes a bit of everything.
With SHAKE, the Queens-based songwriter wanted to give the audience something energetic while getting straight to the point. “Sometimes, that’s how we feel about people.
Though we should have decorum, we may feel like we have to put the smack down, but of course it’s all music and just expression”.
B. hopes to make a lasting impact on rap. The lyricist is confident that her music will make more than a ripple in the waters, so she’s open to seeing what happens.
