Ynw Stretch is a Jamaican-Canadian-based dancehall artist. He relocated to Canada in 2012. He has been performing music since 2013, but he has only recently begun recording because he could not afford to pay for studio time back home.

As soon as he arrived in Canada, where he later established his own at home, he began visiting recording studios. He had already given countless performances in Jamaica, including one competition in which he finished second. In Canada, he has also been giving performances at small clubs, bars, and other venues.

“Music has always been and always will be my love. I’m continually honing my craft and aspire to be as talented and successful as those other artists I like.”
