Chancellor1 Unveils His Vibrant Debut Anthem ‘Don’t go there’

Afrobeat fanatic Chancellor1 releases his forceful debut anthem, “Don’t Go There,” in 2023, to great acclaim. This contemporary reggae dancehall song combines the hottest components to create an unstoppably catchy Afro dancehall masterpiece.

Don’t Go There, which includes the renowned artist Owura Kwaku, originally began as a solo project with production by the famous KE Beatz. Don’t Go There, which aims to “portray old African culture game and mix it with amapiano music & dance,” is the ideal tune to accompany the end of the summer.

Raphael Boavi Lawson, better known by his stage name Chancellor1, is a multi-genre artist who is most well-known for his work in the reggae, dancehall, and Afrobeat genres.

He hails from the vibrant cultural center of Ghana. The extensive musical influences of both Ashanti and Ewe traditions have formed his artistic journey, which has lasted more than ten years. Because of his varied upbringing, he enjoys a devoted following within both tribes.

Chancellor1 has a strong academic background and links with prestigious schools including St. George’s International, Kumasi Academy, King’s College, Cape Coast University, and Sunyani Polytechnic.

This is despite the fact that he is very involved in music. Chancellor1 devoted himself to entertainment in addition to his scholarly endeavors. He captivated crowds with his exciting performances at clubs, bars, and seaside locations throughout Ghana.

Due to his apparent love of music and skill in energizing crowds, Chancellor1 has worked with well-known musicians like Fiifi Xela and Buddama. He will now release songs, including the upcoming amapiano tune “Pilolo,” for a worldwide audience.

Chancellor1 is on the way to making his distinctive mark in the thriving Afrobeat industry after dominating the Ashanti Dancehall music chart on ReverbNation for the last five years. Chancellor1 is clearly a musician to watch as he keeps fusing cultural influences and contemporary sounds, as he has the ability to have a big impact on the world of music.
