Christmas is a season of joy, love, and celebration, and artist Cynthia Basinet has a knack for evoking the spirit of this joyous time of year.

Cynthia’s most recent single, “If Everyday Was Like Christmas,” delivers the holiday spirit to every day of the year. This new track from her is a sweet complement to her earlier holiday favorites, which also include her well-liked performance of the song “Santa Baby,” which is frequently mistakenly ascribed to the iconic Marilyn Monroe.

“If Everyday Was Like Christmas,” an emotional song that was first made famous by the King of Rock and Roll, Elvis Presley, honors the holiday’s giving spirit, sense of community, and comfort. Red West composed the song, and Cynthia Basinet’s rendition of it is masterfully performed.

Cynthia Basinet has a long history in the music business and is regarded as one of the all-time great vocalists. Her career as a performer got its start in the competitive fields of American fashion acting and modeling.

Her fascinating performances and seductive jazz recordings, however, were what made her a household name.

It’s hardly surprising that this superb musician is frequently linked to the song, even if it’s not her own because her interpretation of “Santa Baby” has become an iconic Christmas jazz classic.

Her prior recordings demonstrated her vocal skills and strong affinity for traditional American jazz, solidifying her position as a renowned figure in the music industry.

Cynthia Basinet, a standards singer, finally released her labor of love, “The Standard,” in 2012. It took her 15 years to accomplish it. She gained more exposure as a jazz artist as a result of the album’s favorable reviews and her rendition of “Santa Baby” was featured on the well-known television program “NCIS: Los Angeles.

With the re-release of her heartfelt ballad, “Eventually,” and her dance mix of John Legend’s “All of Me,” which quickly rose to the top of the charts, Cynthia demonstrated her flexibility as an artist in the years that followed.

Her musical prowess can be heard in the way she successfully fuses many genres with her flair.

Cynthia Basinet is a person with a tremendous sense of empathy and compassion outside of her music career. Because of her work with the Saharawi people and her excursions to refugee camps in the Western Sahara, she has been nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize.

Cynthia is a published author as if her musical and charitable accomplishments weren’t already impressive enough. Her 2020 book, “How To Be Civil In An Uncivil World,” shares her knowledge and expertise on fostering civility and understanding in these trying times.
