The Cats have returned and they’re eager to have some fun! “Love Lost on a Bar Napkin,” their brand-new song, is currently available.
Set to the jazzy music that the Cats are known for, the lyrics describe a passionate encounter between a man and a woman.
A jazz and jam band from Baltimore, Maryland is called The Wide-Eyed Lounge Cats. They create original and unusual arrangements by fusing parts of both traditions in their performances and compositions.
Their most recent album, titled “The Watermelon Sessions,” is now accessible. Not only do the songs on the album have excellent musical arrangements, but they also have creative lyrics and catchy song titles that reflect the band’s serious yet lighthearted outlook on life.

The band was profiled in Relix Magazine’s “On the Rise” edition, and the artist sampler playlist for January/February 2022 included tracks from their album.
In addition to their regular monthly performances at Bertha’s Mussels and Cat’s Eye Pub in Fells Point, they are renowned for their appearances at festivals.
Their “Fantasy” music video was chosen for the 2021 London Music Video Festival and appeared in All Abo.
