Jordan Massey remade his original songs into “Heartless (Bonus) EP” while adding emotional depth and melting heartwarming vocals and musical elements. Each track has been enhanced through deeper emotional content and stronger vocal delivery as well as added melodies which make them more potent compositions. Natracks provided their services on mixing and mastering which allowed Massey to refine the sound quality for his fans’ better enjoyment. This EP serves as his appreciation to his fans by revealing some snippets of his upcoming music.
Throughout this project he takes influence from musical artists Chris Brown, The Weeknd, and Justin Timberlake.
Through this EP listeners experience how love develops excitingly but eventually breaks with sorrow. The story unfolds with “La Tentación” (ft. Emi Blondell) which narrates the experience of instantaneous romantic attraction between two people. The song features an irresistible electro-beat with powerful drum elements which makes it appropriate for dance events. The second song “3AM” depicts an actual relationship although something starts to feel very wrong. The main character dedicates every ounce of himself before realizing that his love interest has withdrawn emotionally from the relationship.
In “Dangerous”, reality hits hard. The unhurried musical pace and heartfelt harmonies in the background produce an emotional high point in the track. The character awakens to the fact that their love relationship has become poisonous. During this phase there exists only manipulative behavior and the destructive practice of mental irrationality. This song goes past heartbreak to show people how they should discover their value and refuse to bear responsibility for what went wrong.
The song “Sins” brings forward his emotional journey through a collaboration with Wil. The relationship broke up although the hurt from it remains strong. Throughout his thoughts the main character plays unresolved memories in his mind while he wonders about realness. The painful experience of betrayal together with wasted time forms the foundation of this song which allows the character to express their true emotions.
The track “Heartless (NSA)” introduces fresh aspects about the character’s emotional state. He protects his recovery even though his wounds remain unhealed. He refuses to surrender his heart in any way for now.
