Doukadj And The Lions Band Comes Through with A New Album

1.5k

A budding flame Doukadj, author, singer, guitarist, from the Lyon region, feels a strong desire for music, and becomes self-taught.
Subsequently, this leads him to meet Mad
Pluma -Congolese reggae artist- who became his mentor. He allowed her to see the music in another way, to discover his true potential and thus form themselves as
singer-guitarist.

To become familiar with and harden up on stage, he goes to several Jams (open stage)
Lyonnaise, with the ambition of meeting
musicians, to form a group in order to evolve and structure its many reggae compositions.

During a jam, Doukadj crosses paths with
Djemaël a student from Martinique, multi-instrumentalist with whom they go start thinking about their first project musical “Doukadj & The Lions”.
Zakaria, bassist of the National Orchestra of
Senegal, later joined them to complete this training.

The group then made the bet to embark on
recording an album. After two years of work, they release the album
TOUS ENSEMBLE, composed of 12 titles which offers an atypical, fresh and colorful reggae. An ambitious mix between the lines of essential bass of Zakaria, the strength
melodic brought by Djemael, the voice
energetic and the surprising pen of
Doukadj.
