“Free My People” – A Powerful Global Hip-Hop Anthem for Justice and Humanity

80

In a time of heightened global unrest and humanitarian crisis, music often becomes the loudest voice for the voiceless. Franco-Moroccan rapper Solomane joins forces with M1 of the legendary hip-hop duo Dead Prez, alongside an extraordinary lineup of conscious artists — Sa-Roc, Nejma Nefertiti, and Yasmeen Quintana — to release “Free My People”, a raw and urgent call for peace and justice.

Released via La Rose Production, the single isn’t just a musical statement — it’s a humanitarian mission. All proceeds from the track go directly to Clean Shelter, a German NGO working to improve sanitary conditions in refugee camps in Gaza, where conditions have worsened dramatically following a renewed blockade and the breakdown of ceasefire negotiations.

Musically, “Free My People” channels the uncompromising energy of old-school boom-bap with stripped-down production that allows the message to hit front and center. Each verse is a rallying cry, infused with grief, resistance, and hope. There’s no filler — just fire.

“Free My People” is more than a track — it’s a movement. A cross-border collaboration grounded in the belief that art must speak up, especially when lives are on the line. From Khan Younis to Kiev, this song carries the universal message that human dignity should never be negotiable.
