Brazilian composer and musician Guilherme Silveira proudly announces the release of his new album, “Guilherme Silveira.” This album, his second, is the culmination of years of compositional work, blending diverse influences from across Brazil and beyond.

In “Guilherme Silveira,” listeners will find a rich tapestry of Brazilian music that spans the country’s vast regional sounds, from the traditional accents of the north to the sophisticated improvisations of the south. This intricate blend of styles is further enriched by Silveira’s experiences in Paris, infusing some of the tracks with the unique character of Parisian life.

The album features contributions from several luminaries of Brazilian music, whose participation has significantly enhanced both the compositions and their interpretations. Recorded in Rio de Janeiro, Curitiba, Porto Alegre, and Paris, the album showcases an impressive lineup of musicians, including:

– Itamar Assiere (piano/Fender Rhodes keyboard)
– Marcio Bahia (drums)
– Ney Conceição (double bass/electric bass/fretless bass)
– Jonathan Augusto (clarinet)
– Luci Bispo (percussion)
– Amina Mezaache (flute)
– Pedrinho Figueiredo (flute)

The collaborative effort in “Guilherme Silveira” results in a sophisticated and deeply expressive work, capturing the essence of Brazil’s musical diversity while also reflecting the artist’s personal and artistic journey.
