Luxembourg Artist Hembadoon, drops new single teaser titled “YOLO” on Friday December 12, 2025. The single is the first official drop from the Album project titled “TIME Na NOW”. The body of work is a 5-year journey of a 10-track album with some previously released singles from 2021 to 2023 including upbeat house track “HEY LOVER” and cultural single “KULE KULE HEMBA AYEM” (available on all streaming platforms). In the album, Hembadoon profiles her journey to take back her life, sieze the day, deal with setbacks, build self esteem and shoutout to her fans. YOLO which stands for “You Only Live Once”, is a rich fusion of Afrobeats and Amapiano with lyrics that encourage the listener to bet on themselves. She speaks about keeping one’s eyes on the prize and being steadfast in their hustle. Hembadoon sings in English, with a mix of Nigerian Street pidgin English and her native language of Tiv from Benue State, Nigeria.
The words in the song are a direct reflection of the Artist’s own experience and she hopes it resonates with anyone who needs a confirmation to take the bold step to rebuild their lives.
