The song was inspired by a vivid dream, Vidov rushed to his grand piano and recorded the song on a cassette player which captures its raw essence.
“Running in Place” features dynamic drumming from Argentinian musicians Lucas Seaone and Marco Toba, adding a vibrant rhythm to the track. The song stands out with its catchy rock/pop melodies and includes lyrical insights from Shakespeare, adding a literary depth to its exploration of destiny. Vidov’s unique touch is further highlighted by the inclusion of French lyrics, inspired by a moment of inspiration while driving through Montreal.
