John Hanifin Embraces Individuality With ‘Unremarkably Remarkable’

873

Today, classically trained pop artist John Hanifin is excited to release “Unremarkably Remarkable”, the latest single from his upcoming Clean House album, due to be released on April 21st, 2023. In his new song “Unremarkably Remarkable”, John Hanifin discusses staying true to oneself and recognizing that we won’t resonate with everyone.

When discussing his latest single “Unremarkably Remarkable”, John Hanifin writes: ‘Unremarkably Remarkable’ is about how we never really know who people are or what they can achieve, and I believe that’s also true of ourselves. In a scene from the film “Imitation Game” with Benedict Cumberbatch, a young boy says to his friend, “sometimes the people no one can imagine do the things no one can imagine.”. This song is inspired by that quote.

As part of his effort to capture different vibes but keep the sound similar to the rest of the upcoming Clean House album, John Hanifin produced the single using wavy synths, sectioned background vocals, old school electric guitar, and a pop chord progression accompanied by cello pizzicato. Keeping moving forward and feeling good is what John focused on, since that’s what he feels we all need
to do. Though he had the idea for this song earlier, it wasn’t until he heard “Unremarkably Remarkable” on an old voice note titled “lyric idea” that he thought, “that’s it! ””.
