Jon Thorstensen, a talented Norwegian composer, jazz guitarist, and pianist, is known for his passion in pushing the boundaries and exploring the links between jazz and various other styles.

Gjerde’s minimalist “sound paintings” on Rhodes electric piano, acoustic piano, grand piano, synths, and synth bass create a unique atmosphere that blends seamlessly with Thorstensen’s vision.
The recordings took place in Gamlebyen, Fredrikstad, under the guidance of esteemed producer Kyrre Fritzner (known for his work with DeLillos, CC Cowboys, and The Rambelins), and Thorstensen himself in his own home studio. The album was produced, mixed, and mastered by Kyrre Fritzner in FMV Studio.
