Multi-award-winning composer, pianist, and artist Karen Salicath Jamali announces the release of her latest piano composition, “Mary’s Blessing,” a piece she received in a dream and immediately recorded on her Steinway piano.
Known for channeling music through dreams following a near-death experience, Karen continues to transform deeply personal revelations into healing soundscapes.
“Mary’s Blessing” carries a message of presence, protection, and love. In her dream, the music appeared as a reminder of a nurturing force watching over us, represented through the simplicity and clarity of the heart. The single arrives with cover art featuring one of Karen’s sculptures, “Mary,” symbolizing strength, tenderness, and the bond between mother and child.
The single was mastered by Maria Triana, a world-renowned engineer who has worked with legendary artists including Aretha Franklin, Bob Dylan, Miles Davis, and Diana Ross, as well as contemporary stars like Sting, Camila Cabello, and Whitney Houston.
Karen’s journey as a composer began after a life-changing accident in 2012. Following a near-death experience and three years of recovery, she spontaneously began composing and playing the piano, despite never having played before. Since then, she has released eight albums, composed more than 2,500 works, and performed solo at Carnegie Hall eight times.
Her compositions flow from her belief in the universal language of sound: “One of the things I learned out there in the universe was that we are all one; we are all connected to each other. And sound is what holds everything together—planets, stars, and us. We all have our unique sound.”
In addition to releasing new music, Karen recently launched her debut fashion brand, Karen Salicath, with her first line—the Angel Collection—crafted by master shoemakers in Le Marche, Italy. Each piece of the collection, like her music, is designed to connect wearers to inner peace, beauty, and spiritual energy.
