318

Drummer and producer Karl Jannuska takes an unexpected yet captivating turn with Unsung, the latest single from his album The Pull. Known for his work as an acoustic jazz drummer, Jannuska ventures into new sonic territory, blending 90s hip-hop samples with his signature jazz sensibilities.

In addition to producing the album, Jannuska wrote all the music and lyrics, crafting an intricate soundscape that pushes the boundaries of both jazz and electronic music. His longtime collaborator, Cynthia Abraham, lends her mesmerizing vocals to the track, embodying the soul of his compositions since 2017.

With Unsung, Jannuska creates a bridge between the rhythmic pulse of hip-hop and the improvisational spirit of jazz, proving that musical innovation thrives at the crossroads of tradition and experimentation.
