Kaya Street releases 4th Summer Single “Start Again” – A Soul-Stirring Call for Compassion in an Age of Division

4

Kaya Street’s fourth and final summer single, “Start Again”has been released — and it’s
their most poignant release to date. A powerful sonic meditation on empathy, unity, and the soul of humanity, Start Again is both a critique of modern society and a hopeful invitation to rediscover what binds  us together.

Following a string of acclaimed singles — from the defiant Revolutionary Minds to the tender Don’t Give Up and the hypnotic Blue Dancer — Start Again serves as the emotional crescendo ahead of Kaya Street’s debut album, landing early 2026.

“We’ve built a culture where apathy and bravado have replaced empathy and reflection,” says Kaya Street’s frontman. “This song is a quiet revolution. It asks one simple question: Why do people love each other?”

Built on intricate layers of Afrobeat percussion, Ghanaian highlife brass, Latin piano rhythms, and Soukous guitar lines, Start Again is a genre-fusing, festival-ready anthem. A hypnotic, trance-like outro drives the message home: it’s time to kill off the machine, break the cycle of digital dehumanisation, and start again.

Produced and mastered by award-winning Canadian producer Dubmatix, the track’s sonic palette is vibrant and deeply textured —bridging continents, cultures, and consciousness. Electronic elements pulse subtly beneath the organic instrumentation, echoing the push-pull of modern life and ancient rhythms.
