ADHURI is a song whose lyrics are a mix of Hindi and English. It means ‘incomplete’ and the hook line says ‘I am incomplete without you.’ While the lyrics of the verses signify independence (‘Tere jaise mile kitne, mere jaisa nahi, no one’, translating to ‘I met so many like you, but there is no one like me’); the lyrics of the pre chorus and chorus bring us back to the fiery, obssessive emotions of love, giving into the feeling of wanting someone (‘aajan teri baahon me, thandi ye fizaen hai’ , translating to ‘Take me into your arms, it’s cold).
