American musician Marcus Barnes has broadened his musical ability with a new single called “As Simple As It Gets.”

Marcus only used to create classical and Christian worship music, but on this new release, he showed his versatility and tried a new tone.

When Marcus and a friend went to a wedding where a live pop rock band was performing, the friend persuaded Marcus to consider doing pop music. Marcus then challenged himself to try it out and the outcome is the amazing tune “As Simple As It Gets.”

The song “As Simple As It Gets” is a great example of how to deal with melancholy and depression.

Marcus talked about how people often turn to their sad playlist to listen to songs with all the words they need to say because he believes that a lot of things creep in and we either turn to cope with listening to our “sad playlist” of songs or there are just those special ones who bring us light and somehow make us even a little less depressed and a little happier when we see them.

“As Simple As It Gets” was purposely produced for anyone dealing with depression and sadness, and the aim is to help them find comfort. It has a catchy melody and some lyrics, but an underlining musical tone that makes it feel more encouraging and gives it a chill vibe.

If you are dealing with depression and your only way to get rid of it is to listen to your “sad playlist,” or unless you see the faces of your loved ones then “As Simple As It Gets” is the right song for you.
