Celebrated vocalist Marsha Bartenetti has released the international release of her new single, “I Could Get Used to This,”. This marks the first single from her highly anticipated EP, set for release in 2025. The song, originally composed by Wes Montgomery (Bumpin’), features lyrics by Mark Winkler and
Shelley Nyman.
Marsha discovered the tune at one of Mark Winkler’s performances and was captivated by its charm. “I fell in love with this tune when I heard Mark sing it at one of his shows and just knew I had to record it,” Marsha shared. “He was kind enough to give me the go-ahead, and I am proud to release it.”
The recording process unfolded across two iconic music hubs, Nashville and Los Angeles, uniting an extraordinary ensemble of musicians under the guidance of two co-producers. The journey began at Ocean Way Studios in Nashville, where Donny Marrow co-produced the basic tracks, featuring Kevin Madill on piano, Pat Bergeson on guitar, Marcus Finnie on drums, and Danny O’Lannerghty on bass. The production then moved to Blue Moon Studio in Los Angeles, where co-producer Stephan Oberhoff oversaw the addition of overdubs and vocals. This phase introduced Brian Scanlon on saxophone, Stephan Oberhoff himself contributing Hammond B3 and a flugelhorn sample, and the evocative vocals of Marsha Bartenetti, completing a rich and dynamic sonic tapestry.
