Montreal-based singer Viva Lableue, along with her label Win Win Situation Music Group, has released the upcoming release of her highly anticipated single, “Reciprocate.”

Produced by the acclaimed Nolionthebeat and brought to life through the expert hands of local talent MerkerMusic, who recorded, mixed, and mastered the song, “Reciprocate” offers a fresh yet nostalgic sound. Blending smooth early-2000s R&B rhythms with catchy lyrics and laid-back vibes, the single perfectly captures the emotion of a summer romance. “I wanted to remind my listeners that love is best when the feeling is reciprocated,” Viva Lableue shares. “My aim was to give listeners a taste of what Montreal music sounds like—with our jazz festivals, Caribbean
influences, and French refinement.”

This release marks Viva’s first single in over a year. Reflecting on her creative journey during this pause, she explains, “I’ve been evolving from the raunchy, party-style dancehall music I once made to something more understated and subtle. Growing up watching my father play clarinet in the Montreal Symphony Orchestra and my mother singing gospel worldwide inspired me to create a more complex sound—one that mirrors how life grows more layered as we age.”

As a mother of four in her 30s, Viva is proud that her music now reflects her rich past, present experiences, and future aspirations.
