Nocko’s “Owe My Life”: A Powerful Journey of Redemption and Faith

97

Nocko has recently come through with hit single “Owe My Life”, an emotional and self-reflective record. Though recorded in Florida, since Nocko described his numerous times as a guest of Connecticut’s prison system this track  conveys the spirit of never giving up, changing and believing in something higher. It is not just a song it symbolically tells a story of second chances and the impact that having belief can have.

The song, “Owe My Life,” follows Nocko along the stormy stages of his life – from a reckless life ending up in a wrong part way to finding enlightenment. With his powerful and provocative voice and peaceful and triumphant music, Nocko takes the listener into his story – from the bottom in drug addiction to the path of a new life.

The track is made even more impressive by the fact that Nocko had total creative freedom over it; He composed wrote, performed, mixed and mastered the song bringing out original vision, unhampered. His voice carries an emotional gravity, resonating with authenticity. He reflects on miraculous experiences: avoiding death by being shot at point-blank with a gun, that avoiding several fatal accidents and understanding that his life was saved for a purpose.

For Nocko, the title Owe My Life’’ is a true statement from Nocko as he feels that he has been saved by higher power and owes it to himself to tell his side of the story. The single will be the last song from his soon to be released album “Label Me” and is a strong message to anyone that is in a state of desperation and needs that hope in life and sometimes in death. Nocko’s central caution is hopeful—there is always light at the end of the tunnel.
