OLI Releases Poignant Track “When It All Goes Quiet” with Cinematic Music Video

Emerging artist OLI captures the rare stillness of early morning in the evocative title track, “When It All Goes Quiet”, from her debut album. The song embodies the serene moments at dawn, weaving together Zara Hudson-Kozdoj’s sweeping strings (a collaborator of Max Richter) with dynamic beats and electronic textures. The track transports listeners to that blissful, in-between time when the world slows down, and there’s nothing but calm.

“When It All Goes Quiet” serves as the emotional and thematic core of the album. OLI describes it as an homage to the quiet moments at the end of a long night—the soft silence, the gentle bird songs, and the rare, peaceful feeling of having nowhere to be. “It’s about that lovely early morning feeling when you have nothing on the next day and are genuinely at peace,” OLI explains.

To complement the release, OLI has shared a cinematic music video directed by Finnish filmmaker Heini Susanne, shot over 36 hours in Margate. The video beautifully mirrors the song’s reflective atmosphere, following OLI as she returns home after a lively night, embracing solitude and reveling in the simple pleasure of running a bath and being present in the moment.

“When It All Goes Quiet” is a deeply introspective track, inviting listeners to pause, breathe, and connect with the tranquility that comes in life’s quietest hours.
