Canadian artist Richy Jay has released a vibrant remix of his track “Monde parallèle”, now paired with a stunning official music video. This fresh version—produced by Sonny Black Productions—adds a pop-fueled, danceable energy to a song already rich in emotion and meaning.
But Monde parallèle is more than just a song—it’s the result of a creative project between Richy Jay and high school students from Des Rives School in Terrebonne, Québec. Initiated by the City of Terrebonne’s Department of Recreation and Community Life, this collaboration allowed students to explore their identities and express their dreams by imagining their own “parallel world.”
Through a series of songwriting workshops, the students contributed lyrics, vocals, and creative ideas, bringing real emotion and youthful honesty to the project. Richy Jay’s vocals deliver the message with depth and positivity, turning this track into a hopeful anthem about freedom, self-expression, and imagination.
The accompanying music video, directed by Kevin Noisette (KN Visuals), was filmed at the Cosmodôme in Laval and features young actors Logan and Zara. It captures the spirit of discovery and wonder, showing how creativity can transport us beyond the ordinary.
Originally recorded by Daniel Bravo at Studio 7Recordz, the remix transforms the track into a feel-good, modern pop hit that still holds emotional weight. This release is a perfect example of how music, education, and community can come together to create something truly meaningful.
