After the release of From Above last September, Rikky Baby received several positive reviews from the media, including an interview on CBC MUSIC with Duke Eatmon hosting, on CKUT, as well as a few articles and radio airplay. To kick off the year, he is releasing a second single titled Philippians4:13, which will be part of an EP set for release in the spring.
In this drill-influenced track produced by Loick Mboutou (King’s Soldier), the rapper reflects on his new artistic and personal direction, one that is healthier and more spiritual in order to fulfill his dreams. Rikky Baby maintains his faith even through the highs and lows of life.
Mixed and mastered by Jesse Yonge and distributed by Tunecore, the track is now available on all digital platforms. The music video will be released in the coming days.
