“Sink Or Swim” in Isadora’s new EP

329

Isadora’s new EP “Sink or Swim” is a true autobiography, born from the ambivalence of a single question: Sink or Swim? For this journey, the artist surrounds herself with exceptionally talented musicians, including Prince Lao, Rémy Béesau, Elvin Galland, Laurent Louis, and General Elektriks, with Matteo from Chinese Man overseeing every stage of the EP.

Isadora creates a unique artistic universe, offering three ballads and three more up-tempo tracks that alternate between lyrical and punchy rhythmic phrasing. Balancing between dreaminess and reality, the artist blends major aesthetics such as jazz, new-soul, pop, and even dabbles in R&B.

“Sink or Swim” is an invitation to travel, both intimate and sensitive, with a touch of playfulness. The EP is a true introspection, with Isadora’s personal story at the heart of her lyrics. From heartbreak and disastrous Tinder dates to the joy of rediscovering oneself after a period of being lost, listeners witness a touching and slightly offbeat making-of a slice of her life.

Isadora’s versatility shines through in this project, as she seamlessly navigates between different musical genres, creating a sound that is both authentic and innovative. “Sink or Swim” is a testament to her ability to blend introspective storytelling with rich, dynamic musical arrangements, making it a compelling listen from start to finish.
