An intimate father–son collaboration recorded at one of the world’s most iconic studios, Love Is the Light of Christmas marks the release of a new orchestral Christmas single by Stuart and Theo Bosley.
The project began in September as a simple melodic idea sketched on paper and gradually evolved into a full orchestral recording. The music was orchestrated internationally before being recorded and mixed at Abbey Road Studios, bringing together classical vocal performance and contemporary orchestral production.
Love Is the Light of Christmas is a reflective, melodic seasonal work centred on themes of family, warmth and light. Eschewing novelty, the song is positioned as a timeless Christmas recording intended for thoughtful listening rather than seasonal pastiche.
Stuart Bosley is a classically trained tenor whose background spans live performance and vocal interpretation. Recording alongside his son at Abbey Road with a world class engineer who has worked with some of the biggest names, transformed the project into something more personal — a shared artistic moment captured in a studio synonymous with musical history.
“What began as a few lines on a page grew,.almost unexpectedly, into a full orchestral recording,” Bosley said. “To experience that journey together, and to complete it at Abbey Road, is something we will both carry with us for a lifetime.”
Released independently in time for the festive season, Love Is the Light of Christmas is currently being shared with broadcasters, curators and publications across the UK and internationally.
