The Astonishing Story Behind The River Song by Stones Speak

365

Stones Speak, a unique musical duo composed of Kee and Ozni, has just released their latest single, “The River Song.” The pair, hailing from vastly different backgrounds, bring a distinctive blend of influences to their music, creating a track that resonates deeply with themes of purpose and healing.

Kee grew up in an off-grid community, immersed in nature. Despite her dreams of sharing her inspired songs, she had never touched a microphone. Her upbringing instilled in her a deep connection to the natural world, which profoundly influences her music. On the other hand, Ozni comes from a royal Korean family that fled to America to escape arranged marriages. In America, Ozni was immersed in classical music, mastering multiple instruments with a talent reminiscent of Mozart. However, as a teenager, he yearned for the rock star life, leading his family to move to an off-grid community, seeking a fresh start.

The creation of “The River Song” is a story of serendipity. One day, while Kee’s family was playing by the river, she felt inexplicably drawn to the river rapids, where she heard a beautiful melody. Simultaneously, Ozni, at home, was playing a guitar riff that reminded him of the river. When Kee heard Ozni’s riff, she excitedly recognized it as the melody she had heard by the river. Both were stunned by the coincidence, solidifying their musical partnership.

“The River Song” was created to uplift and inspire those struggling with negative feelings. It’s an anthem that encourages listeners to pursue their vision and purpose in life. Kee and Ozni’s harmonious blend of natural inspiration and musical mastery creates a track that is both soothing and empowering.

Stones Speak’s new release is not just a song, but a testament to the power of music to connect, heal, and inspire. With “The River Song,” they invite listeners on a journey of self-discovery and fulfillment, urging everyone to find and follow their true calling.
